Listing Mauritius Watch and Win – (the “Competition”)
Terms and Conditions

1. The BBC Code of Conduct (the “Code”) for competitions can be found at www.bbc.co.uk/competitioncode and all BBC Studios  (“BBCS”) promotions must comply with the Code. 
2. The Competition is open to all residents of South Africa aged 18 years or over and a resident South Africa except BBCS or BBC employees, and anyone BBCS deems to be connected with the Competition (“Entrants”). 
3. By entering the Competition, the Entrants agree:
   - to be bound by these Terms and Conditions;
   - that their full name and place of residence may be released if they win a prize;
   - that should they win the Competition, their name and likeness may be used by BBCS for pre-arranged promotional purposes.
    
4. No purchase is necessary to enter.
    
5. There will be 5 (five) individual Competitions that will run for a period of 10 (ten) weeks each Competition will open at 9.00 SAST on the relevant date set out below and close at 17.00 SAST on the relevant date set out below (“Closing Date”).
   - 1st  competition from 15 October 2024 until 18 October 2024,
   - 2nd competition from 29 October 2024 until 1 November 2024, 
   - 3rd competition from 12 November 2024 and end 15 November 2024, 
   - 4th  competition from 26 November 2024 until 29 November 2024 
   - 5th competition from 10 December 2024 until 13 December 2024, 

After each Closing Date, 1 (one) winner will be selected based on the criteria set out in clause 8 .

6. Every two weeks commencing on the dates set out in clause 5, an influencer will post an Instagram reel or /TikTok or X post where they will ask a question about that week’s episode of the programme Listing Mauritius (the “Programme”) Entrants will need to comment on the post and follow specified account(s) by the deadlines stated in clause 5 in order to enter the Competition. 
7. Only one (1) entry will be permitted per person regardless of method of entry and bulk entries (meaning the use of any form of technology which allows multiple simultaneous entries) will not be permitted.  Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.  No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical or other reason.  Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered.  Entries cannot be returned.
8. There will be 1 (one) winner randomly selected after each Closing Date  (“Winner(s)”)

9. The prize will be for the Competition will be 1 (one ) Listing Mauritius watch party hamper, containing the following:

   - Cooler Box
   - Cocktail Shaker
   - Country Road Beach Towel
   - Snack Pack 

10. Winner(s) must supply to BBCS (via private instant message on the social platform they entered the competition on i.e. Instagram or TikTok) with their full name, postal address, email address and daytime telephone number. BBCS will only ever use Entrant’s personal details for the purposes of administering this Competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without permission. 11. The Winner(s) will be notified within 5 (five) days of each Closing Date If the Winner(s) is unable to be contacted within one calendar month of the Closing Date of the Competition, BBCS reserves the right to offer the Prize to a runner up, or to re-offer the Prize in any future BBCS competition.
     
12. On successful contact and confirmation with the Winner(s) BBCS will send the Prize to the Winner(s) to a designated address, by post or courier. BBCS will not be liable for any disruption, delay, strike action or incorrect delivery by any postal or courier service.
     
13. There is no cash alternative and the Prize will not be transferable. BBCS accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize and not specifically included in the Prize. If the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, BBCS reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
     
14. The name and place of residence of the Winner(s) may be obtained by sending a self addressed envelope to Marketing Department at BBC Studios (Africa) Proprietary Limited 263 Oak Avenue Ferndale Randburg Johannesburg 2194 South Africa within two months of the closing date of the Competition.
     
15. Any promotional activity or press release the winner makes in relation to the Competition must be pre-approved by BBCS in writing.
     
16. BBCS excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the Competition or occurring to the winner(s) arising from his or her acceptance of a prize.
     
17. BBCS excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the Competition or occurring to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of a prize. Claims relating to the prize should be made directly to the manufacturer. You agree to release Instagram or TikTok from all liability whatsoever in connection with the Competition.
     
18. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to BBC Studios and not to Instagram or TikTok.
     
19. Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
     
20. BBCS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the Competition or the Prize at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control. 
     
21. The Competition is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
