Tebogo Kgethe was born in Bophuthatswana and grew up in South Africa, calling six provinces his home and working in all nine. However, Cape Town has always been his home, especially over the last eight years.

By profession, Tebogo started out as a banker with a national diploma in accounting. He soon swapped the corporate world for his passion for people, places and storytelling, which led him to a completely different path, much to his parents' surprise. For the past eight years, Tebogo has been working as a freelance travel writer and destination fact checker, collaborating with both local and international tourism organisations to uncover hidden gems and travel stories that deserve to be told — accurately, responsibly, and beautifully.

Linda Munnik is a South African hiking creator and travelling content creator, best known for documenting her journeys through some of the country’s most scenic and lesser-known trails. Through Linda Hikes South Africa, she shares practical insights, route details, and honest reflections that inspire others to explore the outdoors with confidence.

This series follows Linda as she travels across South Africa, uncovering hidden gems, meeting local communities, and experiencing each destination on foot — offering viewers an authentic, down-to-earth look at the landscapes, stories, and adventures that make the country so unique.

Senzelwe is a 34-year-old South African travel and lifestyle content creator, digital storyteller, and photography enthusiast. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, she also calls rural KwaZulu-Natal home—two worlds that have deeply shaped how she sees and experiences travel.

As an avid traveller, Senzelwe is passionate about capturing moments artistically and showcasing the beauty, diversity, and depth of South Africa, with the aim of telling a fuller, more authentic narrative. For her, travel is multi-faceted. It is not only about crossing borders or boarding planes, but about curiosity, connection, and discovering meaningful ways to experience the world around us.

Senzelwe believes that travel should be immersive, transformative, and rooted in positive impact—benefiting local communities while encouraging deeper cultural understanding. Her work reflects this ethos, whether through visual storytelling, curated travel experiences, or on-the-ground exploration. She has been featured on CNN’s Inside Africa, curated rural tours in Zululand, and led travel experiences across the continent. She has also collaborated with leading travel and lifestyle brands, including Canon South Africa.

Through her work, she strives to create authentic, relatable, and engaging content that inspires a new generation of storytellers to find their voice and share their stories boldly.

Rhett and Claire are two South African social media content creators, born and raised in Johannesburg. They quit their nine-to-five jobs in order to travel the world as the duo create informative, cinematic YouTube videos that help travellers plan their trips to the most beautiful destinations across the globe.

Rhett and Claire share experiences during their stay and discuss topics like: “where to stay, how to get around, how much everything costs” and “all the best things to do in a specific destination”, whether it’s local or international destinations.

Melissa Blanche is a Cape Town–based filmmaker and photographer specialising in luxury hospitality and destination storytelling across South Africa. With a passion for travel and the outdoors, she works with luxury lodges, boutique hotels, and tourism brands to bring destinations to life through compelling visual content.

Through her work, Melissa aims to inspire more intentional travel and adventurous living, while discovering South Africa’s hidden gems. Her photography portfolio sets out to highlight the beauty, culture, and experiences the regions within South Africa have to offer.
